1. You have two "out-files, the one in top dir has wrong output. Which why the CI failed. But the one below the makefile has correct output. So you can just delete that one in top dir and put the other one there. Then CI will pass.
2. Other that it looks good. But one thing you can think about is adding more inline comments so that it becomes easier to follow.
